FS-UAE is awesome! It's not worth considering anything else for non-Windows platforms… and it even supports that too if you don't like Win-UAE for whatever reason, or feel like seeing how the other half live.

Great game choice. My views on it pretty much align with yours. I think the underwater controls spoil what would otherwise be an amazing, witty, charming platformer. Given the mission element, level warps and secrets, it was ahead of its time and clearly stands out from the crowd of bog-standard platformers. I think the key to enjoying it though is *not* playing Robocod first. That and being a fan of the water levels of other platform games… which excludes a lot of people unfortunately. This is definitely on my to-review list even so.

Can't wait for next week's show. Simon the Sorcerer is one of my all-time favourite games. I had a PC by that stage and was playing it from HD/CD so had the benefit of full speech provided by Chris 'Rimmer' Barrie. Oddly enough it got a bit of a rough ride from some Amiga mags who thought the humour was annoying and predictable, and complained about the whole pixel-hunting thing, which really goes hand in hand with point 'n' click adventure games anyway.
