I think Marvin’s review scores to a large extent reflect 1995 ‘seen it all beforeism’; a sign of the times as you say. Five years earlier and it could have been interpreted very differently. I haven’t played this in ages, it’s so easily overlooked, which I suppose would be a fair criticism at any point in time. Really endearing graphics though – they’re enough to draw you in, initially at least.
