Ed's Kickstarter raised $18,446 bucks for Warblade MKII btw…a tidy sum and well over double what he asked…this was the popularity of Deluxe Galaga at work i'd reckon.
Directory Opus on PC is just as good 🙂
Yes, Directory Opus on PC is made by the same boys that did the Amiga version. My review: http://reviewlagoon.com/directory-opus-10-the-power-user-file-manager/
Hi there! I've played Deluxe Galaga and Warblade for years. My wife and I used to play them in two-player mode and cooperate through the levels. Great fun! We're going to have a new go at Warblade this week thanks to this podcast. 😉
I hear you talking about the ship stealing your money in the games.. It is called "tax collector", or in Norwegian "futen". 😉
Hoping you guys get the older comments, but I'm playing some catch-up on your podcast.
I never used Directory Opus but instead used SID on the Amiga (at least I think that's what it was called, have to boot up my Amiga to check on the details). Does the same thing with the side by side view but I think it was out earlier. My friend who got me into the Amiga used it on his 1000 with hard drive.
Directory Opus Magellan is basically the name for the 5.6 version and up of Directory Opus for the Amiga.

Hey OSGB! Sorry I missed your comment. Interesting fact about the money-stealing ship! I still haven't had a go with Warblade; I ought to give it a shot!
Thanks for the clarification, Anthony! Software rebranding often confuses me 🙂
