You might have spotted that I’m quite fond of comparing movies to their licensed video game spin-offs? Normally these retrospectives are a static text and picture affair many people consider a bit flat and stodgy, shall we say. If you fall into this camp you may prefer the full-motion YouTube version. In this case it extracts scenes from the 1991 blockbuster Addams Family movie and demonstrates how they were implemented in the SNES game, which is largely the same as the Amiga port, only with weapons and luscious parallax scrolling backgrounds.
If you find the voice-over pecks away at your nerves, don’t worry, it doesn’t continue throughout. Some awesome music kicks in as soon as Emma goes back in her box. 😉
