Your review is approximately 1000 times more entertaining than playing this game. Thanks as always dreamkatcha 🙂

No problem, glad you enjoyed it. I felt a bit guilty writing this one since Lionheart seems to be loved almost unanimously. It was like kicking a puppy, I don't get it at all.

I didn't hate this game! That said, I agree with you 99 percent of the way..it's a flawed game that could have been SO much more! Great write up!

Thanks for all of your review/podcasts.
Thalion, what a great development studio. They also developed Ambermoon, one of the best RPG’s on the Amiga and you can still play it today, it aged very well.
    Download it officially from “http://thalion.exotica.org.uk/games/ambermoon/ambermoon.html”.
Maybe we will see an Ambermoon potcast in the near future? 😉

They’ve definitely got an interesting back-catalogue of Amiga titles and it’s great that they support the retro gaming community by making them available for free. I’ve covered just two of them personally. RPGs aren’t my specialist subject to be honest. I’ve only looked at Heimdall in any depth and that’s mostly because I love the artists’ work and it’s quite a light/accessible example of the genre with plenty of interesting trivia to talk about. I really enjoyed that one.
